How to Raise a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

We want every homeowner who reaches Cantlighting Tree Service to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, tell us. This page shows how to file a complaint and what happens next. It is a general template and is not legal advice.

Topics You Can Raise

You can write to us about:

  • Your experience when you called or contacted Cantlighting Tree Service
  • The way your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
  • The conduct of a provider we connected you with

If the Problem Is a Provider

Providers in our network are independent businesses. Each one answers for its own quotes, prices, work and customer service. If you have a problem with tree work on your property, the usual first step is to take it up with the provider and keep a written record.

Please still let us know. Feedback about providers helps keep our network honest, and providers who repeatedly fall short may be removed. Note that Cantlighting Tree Service cannot settle contract disputes, refund a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.

Sending Your Complaint

Email contact@cantlighting.property and include:

  • Your name and a way to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the provider
  • The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what outcome you want

After You Write

We will confirm we received your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. We will look into what happened, which may mean contacting the provider. Then we will reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.

Still Unhappy?

If our answer does not satisfy you, reply and ask us to take another look. You can also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. For problems with licensed contractors, a state or local licensing office may be able to help too.
